Jacob's journey home

Looking forward to this Sunday's message on "Jacob's Journey Home".  Jacob's story occupies 10 chapters  in the book of Genesis.  Jacob was many things - a tent dweller, a shepherd, a deceiver, and a fighter.  In fact, Jacob wrestled with just about everyone who came his way.  His story is full of deceit, violence, and suspense.   What is most notable about JAcob's story is that Jacob wrestled with God and "prevailed"!  Imagine that!  God rewarded JAcob for wrestling with God.

The story of Jacob can teach us many things about walking with God, prayer, and prevailing with the promises of God.  I hope you'll join us Sunday and bring a friend.
