Christmas is here!

At New Life, we are looking forward to celebrating Jesus, the light of the world.  Beginning this Sunday, December 2nd we will enjoy the advent readings celebrating the birth of Jesus.  Each Sunday we will celebrate Christmas by focusing on the Christmas story in the gospels.  This is a great time of year to invite a friend and rediscover the true reason for the season.  In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we have a number of special events scheduled in December.  You're invited, so make plans to attend.

  • Young Adult Christmas Party - Friday, December 7th
  • Thrive Christmas Party - Saturday, December 15th
  • New Life Kid's Christmas Presentation - Sunday, December 23rd
  • Christmas Eve Candle Light Service - Monday, December 24th

We have chosen Matthew 5:14, 16 as our life verse this month.  It reads, "You are the light of the world. . . . In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Samaritan Purse effort to provide Christmas shoe boxes to needy kids around the world.  What a great way to serve!

In this busy season, take time to worship, to serve, and to point others to the true light of Jesus Christ.  I look forward to seeing you Sunday.  Pastor Tom

Thanksgiving/Homecoming Sunday

Can't wait for Sunday and hope you will join us!  We have been preparing for a very special Sunday, November 18th.  We are inviting back every person or family who has attended New Life in the past.  We are encouraging New Lifers to invite friends and family to be present with us in worship.  Plus, we have planned a special thanksgiving reception immediately following the Sunday morning gathering.

Join us this Sunday as we focus on the biblical metaphor of the harvest, give thanks and rejoice.  See you at the ARC at 10:15 AM.
