Courageous Movie Event

Father's Day will be here soon on Sunday, June 17th.  What a great day to celebrate fatherhood and family.  But also an important day to challenge men to be courageous.  We want to invite you to a special showing of the Courageous Movie on Father's Day at Forum 8 Theater (9-11:30 AM).

Two times in Joshua 1:7,9, God commands Joshua "to be strong and courageous".  Join us on Father's Day 2012 as we receive a challenge to courageous living.

the Spirit-filled Life

This Sunday we will focus on the "Spirit-filled" life from Paul's letter to the Roman believers in Romans 8.  I hope you will join us at New Life as we celebrate Mother's day and reach out to connect with God in Christ.

In Romans 8, Paul continues to describe the Christian life as the "Spirit-filled life".  Many of you are probably asking, "How is it possible to live a "Spirit-filled" life?"  Join us Sunday as the Apostle Paul suggests that the Christian life really can be a super-natural life after all.  Don't forget to bring mom and the whole family.

Power of the Resurrection

This Sunday, we are kicking off our series, "He is Risen".  I hope you will join us.  The series will lead us through the book of Romans and remind us of the gospel story and the power of a life-changing relationship with God.

This Sunday we will focus on Romans 1:16-17.  Paul wrote to the Roman believers only 27-30 years after Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead.  As Paul begins his letter to the Roman believers, he is focused on the power of Christ' resurrection.  Come experience a resurrection in your walk with God.

He is Risen!

Easter celebration is early this year.  So on Sunday, April 8th we are kicking off a new series entitled, "He is Risen" and planning an Easter Egg Hunt and a water baptism.  It focuses on the life-changing power of the gospel which Paul writes about in the book of Romans.  Make plans now to celebrate with us on Easter Sunday and throughout the month of April.

Ready, Set, Grow - Belong!

What a great start to our March series on spiritual growth.  This past Sunday, we focused on the New Life core value of BEGIN - exploring and embracing biblical truth.  We took a look at the story of Nicodemus and Jesus and what it means to experience spiritual rebirth.  This next Sunday, we will continue to press forward in our quest for spiritual growth in Christ Jesus.  A second core value at New Life represents another spiritual milestone in our journey.  We call it BELONG by enjoying Christian community.  Many believers today underestimate the power of "belonging".  Join us Sunday as we consider the importance of building solid relationships in the church and growing spiritually as we do.  See you Sunday.  Pastor Tom
